Audits

ANNUAL AUDIT

For the financial year ending 31 March 2025, the Council’s Annual Governance & Accountability Return (AGAR) has been completed. As the gross expenditure for Great Alne Parish Council exceeded £25,000 for the year ending 31 March 2025, GAPC was required to submit the AGAR for a limited assurance review by the external auditor, Moore UK (details below). Please note that the accounts are as yet unaudited.

GAPC held its Annual Meeting on 13 May 2025 – at this meeting the Annual Governance and Accounting Statements were approved and the Parish Council approved the prepared (as yet unaudited) accounts and report of the internal auditor. The completed AGAR was submitted to the external auditor for review on 23 May 2025 and the audit process was concluded on 15 July 2025 on receipt of the External Auditor Certificate.

The AGAR and all accounting records were available for inspection by any local government elector of the area of Great Alne Parish Council between Tuesday 3 June 2025 and Monday 14 July 2025.
